The Harold Wolpe Memorial Trust hosts a range of dialogue events including regular open dialogue events and annual memorial lectures in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg and the Eastern Cape, as well as conferences and colloquia. The Trust has also conceptualised, co-funded and researched a current affairs television series.

The aim of the Trust's public dialogue activities is to create the intellectual space for policy-makers, academics, non-governmental organisations, civil society and interested individuals to enter into critical dialogue, exchange ideas, and debate and discuss key issues.
